BrauBeviale 2023 in Nuremberg: a date that connoisseurs of the beverage industry won’t want to miss. At the trade fair, Strautmann Umwelttechnik, a medium-sized company that produces and sells machines for volume reduction, will be presenting its star in the beverage industry. The LiquiDrainer®.
What makes the LiquiDrainer® so successful?
The LiquiDrainer® makes it easier than ever to empty faulty batches or leftovers. Manual emptying of beverage containers is a thing of the past. With the automatic emptying of the LiquiDrainer® you save time and money. PET bottles, six-packs, beverage cans and TetraPak® are emptied and devalued in a matter of seconds. Using special rotor technology, the container is pierced and then squeezed out. During the emptying process, the beverage containers are devalued and pre-compressed. This protects the beverage containers from misuse. In continuous operation, the drainer can handle up to 10,000 1-litre bottles per hour and achieves a residual emptying rate of 99%. The LiquiDrainer® has since been integrated into a wide range of sectors such as the beverage industry, food production and catering companies.

Mr Thomas Hartsieker, Plant Manager, Hansa-Heemann AG says: “Previously, the PET bottles were manually thrown into skips and given to our disposal company. Our starting point was to improve the internal workflow and optimise disposal costs. The PET bottles are now emptied economically with the Strautmann LiquiDrainer® and compacted into directly marketable bales using a fully automatic baling press.”

These can then compact the emptied bottles into directly marketable bales or briquettes. The recyclable materials are subsequently marketed to waste disposal companies at high prices.
From 28 November to 30 November 2023, interested parties can get an impression of the LiquiDrainer® at BrauBeviale in Hall 8 Stand 117. Live and in action, it empties and cancels full PET bottles on site.
